Privacy

Your information and how it is used.

This page explains the information you provide when you contact Velsetto or book a conversation with John Onyx.

Information you provide

The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, optional business name, and a description of what you would like to discuss. A submission time and reference are recorded with your request.

Please leave out passwords, financial account details, and confidential customer or employee records. If a project requires access to business information, we will agree on how it will be provided and used.

How inquiry information is used

Your details are used to understand your request, communicate with you, and discuss a possible project. Submitting an inquiry does not book an appointment or enroll you in a mailing list.

Email and appointment booking

Velsetto uses Zoho Mail for business email. If you email John, that correspondence is handled through Zoho. You can read Zoho’s privacy policy for information about its service.

Appointment booking takes place on Google Calendar, with calls held through Google Meet. When you follow the booking link, Google handles the details you enter and shares the appointment information with John. Google’s services are covered by the Google privacy policy.

Website hosting and inquiry delivery

Cloudflare hosts this website and stores inquiry records. Resend processes your inquiry details to send a notification to John’s business inbox, hosted by Zoho Mail. These providers process information as part of delivering their services. Their policies are available from Cloudflare and Resend.

Website tracking and security

This website does not use advertising trackers or audience analytics. The inquiry form does not store your answers in browser storage. It uses a request reference to avoid duplicate submissions and a protected hash of your IP address to limit repeated requests. These submission counts expire after 24 hours and are cleared when later inquiries are processed.

Cloudflare processes connection details, including IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect the website. Hosting providers may retain operational logs under their own policies.

Keeping and reviewing information

Inquiry records are kept until they are deleted. You can ask to review, correct, or delete information you have provided by emailing john@velsetto.com. If you have a request reference, include it to help identify the record.

Information provided during an agreed project may have separate handling and retention requirements, which will be addressed as part of that engagement.
